Event Series Program Lead for Bolton Events (contract) (April 2026 - present)

 As Program Lead for the BE Event Series, I support the development and delivery of intentional, growth-focused experiences that go beyond traditional events to foster meaningful personal and professional development. Working across the three core pillars—BE Elevated, BE Empowered, and BE Connected—I assist in planning and executing curated workshops, courses, and gatherings that build skills, encourage self-awareness, and create authentic opportunities for connection. Through thoughtful coordination, communications, and participant experience, I help bring to life events that are designed not just to bring people together, but to create space for growth, learning, and community. 

Administrative Assistant at the city of chilliwack (December 2024 - Current)

 In a municipal government setting, I provide high-level administrative support in fast-paced, public-facing environments, working closely with elected officials, senior leadership, and community stakeholders while exercising strong judgment and discretion. I support executive operations through preparing agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and correspondence, while coordinating schedules, organizing meetings and events, and managing communications across multiple platforms. With a solid understanding of government processes, political protocols, and confidentiality, I deliver clear, professional, and responsive support, contributing to effective operations and positive public engagement. 

CONSTITUENCY ADVISOR FOR LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF BC (JUNE 2021 - September 2024)

In the summer of 2021, I was hired by a Member of Legislative Assembly as her Constituency Assistant for the Chilliwack-Kent riding. As a confidential employee responsible for the administration of the Constituency Office I provide assistance and advocacy for constituents in their dealings with the provincial government, either directly or through appropriate referrals. 

I enjoy supporting the MLA’s work within Chilliwack-Kent through community outreach and liaising. There is a creative aspect of the job which includes preparing communications materials, including digital advertising and the MLA newsletters. I also manage the day-to-day operations of the Constituency Office, including correspondence, bookkeeping, and, information management. 

CO-MARKET MANAGER FOR ABBOTSFORD FARM & COUNTRY MARKET (JANUARY 2018 - December 2024)

In the spring of 2018, I was looking go get more involved in the community. I took on the co-manager position with the Abbotsford Farm and Country Market which continues to present. This has proved to be an invaluable experience in event planning as well as marketing and recruiting. My tasks include operational lead on event days, developing and maintaining the social media accounts, answering public inquiries and booking entertainment, planning children's activities and junior vendor initiatives. 

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AT ABBOTSFORD ARTS COUNCIL (SEPTEMBER 2018 - APRIL 2021)

As the Executive Director for the Abbotsford Arts Council, I developed and maintained annual and project budgets. Through fundraising and grant-writing initiatives, I was able to double the annual budget of the organization. I thoroughly enjoyed planning and hosting events from exhibition openings to outdoor concert series. I developed a robust membership program that included local businesses and organizations offering discounts. I also created and fostered many community collaborations that significantly elevated the profile of the arts council. I was able to be creative by developing marketing material for a variety of print and virtual campaigns. I recruited and stewarded volunteers, practicum students, and summer staff. 

EVENTS support assistant AT TRADEX (JANUARY 2018 - AUGUST 2018)

 As the Events Support Assistant at Tradex, I gained many valuable skills in large-scale event planning and logistics as well as managing a diverse team of employees from security to housekeeping staff. I created staffing schedules for events and assisted in building employee morale through fun and engaging activities. 

Festival director, jam in jubilee with abbotsford arts council (may 2016 - August 2016)

 Overseeing selection of performers, vendors, and merchants.  Securing sponsorship and logistics with community contacts.  Creating marketing and promotion material including art presentation.  Volunteer recruitment and scheduling for weekly event.

Envision Financial Concert Coordinator with abbotsfors arts council (May 2016 to October 2016)

 Coordinate the marketing and promotion of the weekly performances of various musical artists.As the Events Support Assistant at Tradex, I gained many valuable skills in large-scale event planning and logistics as well as managing a diverse team of employees from security to housekeeping staff. BUSINESS MANAGER AT UFV CASCADE NEWSPAPER

As the Business Manager for the UFV Cascade Newspaper, I was in charge of maintaining all business functions of the newspaper including budgeting, payroll, distribution, and advertising sales. 

EMPLOYER ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM CO-ORDINATOR AT UFV SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

Working with the Director of the UFV School of Business to develop the Employer Engagement Program was an amazing opportunity to connect soon-to-be graduates with potential employers. This involved planning and executing various networking events.
